Isa "Kitty" Mady

Picture
 Writer, Folk Artist,
 Herbalist,
 Metaphysics teacher

 My given name is Isa
 (pronounced ESA) but
 I’ve been Kitty since I
 was a teenager, when
fitting in was more important than being different. I’ve since decided that being different isn’t that bad after all, so I use the name Isa when I write - and honor my parents for the gift of originality in the process.

Here’s some work which appears in my book, “Artfully Yours, Isa.” This full color memoir focuses on the healing power of art while tracing my life with inspiring art and artisans from NYC to Alaska. Some are rich and famous and some are notorious and infamous. There’s room in my heart for all kinds.
